This trend makes it to number 4 on our trend list. It was seen heavily on the catwalks with fantastic shows from the biggest names such as Burberry and Alexander McQueen…

Shapes are loose and draped, with lots of layering. Earthy colours such as brown, creams, reds and rust are incorporated, as well as heavy monochrome (specifically the McQueen show). Fur, knits and leather are the key materials, as a return to the organic comes through for the winter. Hair and beauty is minimal with this look.

It’s a hard look to carry off head to toe, we won’t lie. But if you get it right, you’ll be a head turner. It’s the perfect trend for winter as it makes the most of stylish layering, and is an easy, dress-down choice.
