Red or Dead launches Made in England footwear collection

Introducing Mr.Doherty, a formal lace-up leather brogue with a playful contrasting welted sole. Part of our Made in England design project, we have teamed up with the Northamptonshire Productive Society – a Wollaston village based footwear manufacturing collective, first established in 1881, and referred to locally as ‘The Duffers’ – to create this stylish, and proudly English, bench-made shoe, using traditional hand-tooled techniques. With teal stitching, which has been specially dyed to match our signature hue, contrasting leather uppers, leather linings and a Goodyear Welted Sole, Mr.Doherty gives a nod to the summer... Meet Red or Dead’s Creative Director, Katie!

Hi everyone! It’s me again Siu the eyewear journalist from MyGlassesAndMe. This month I will be reviewing another Red or Dead frame with “twistable” temples. When I first heard about them I was immediately intrigued because I have seen changeable temples but never twistable ones. Upon receiving the frames my first impression was what a clever idea! You can have two looks with just one pair of glasses and you don’t have to worry about pulling the temples out & changing them (like all the changeable temple glasses). I cannot explain... Read More

Red or Dead x My Glasses and Me

Hi everyone and welcome to my very first guest post for Red or Dead. I am Siu, an eyewear journalist from the blog MyGlassesAndMe.co.uk. It is about eyewear, fashion and all things relating to us specs wearers. Some people think I am mad to have a blog dedicated to glasses posting articles 5 days a week but I firmly believe our glasses are an important fashion accessory. They can instantly change the way you look, if you think about it… they are actually the easiest way to update your look... Read More
